This research paper explores the role of psychological accompaniment in enhancing the mental health of mothers raising children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Mothers of autistic children often face numerous challenges, including caregiving demands, stress, and emotional burden. The impact of these challenges on maternal mental health, including feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation, is significant. Psychological accompaniment offers a supportive and personalized intervention, providing mothers with a safe space to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies. Through active listening, empathy, and validation, psychological accompaniment empowers mothers to navigate the complexities of parenting a child with autism, fostering emotional growth and resilience. The study reviews existing literature on the effectiveness of psychological accompaniment and its potential benefits for maternal well-being. Recommendations for early intervention, multidisciplinary support, and awareness initiatives are provided to enhance support for mothers of autistic children.
