Abstract: The peoples of the Maghreb countries and the elites in particular began their interest in Europe since the military campaign led by Napoleon Bonaparte against Egypt 1798-1801, which was accompanied by the transfer of scientists, researchers and engineers who dazzled the Egyptians and Arabs with the sciences and scientific development that Europe had reached at that time as a result of its renaissance and the industrial revolution, and despite They received a lot of admiration, but their view of all of this was tinged with doubt and suspicion because the campaign was included within the Christian-Islamic conflict within the framework of the ongoing Crusade war on Muslim lands. Despite this, the Arabs were waking up to the reality of the European Renaissance and the state of stagnation that surrounded them, and the picture became clearer. With the trips taken by The peoples of the Maghreb countries to Europe, these trips constitute an important link in understanding and analyzing the strange ideas of European societies at that time, and reveal the position of Moroccan jurists and historians regarding the extent to which they comprehended the transformation brought about by the course of events taking place among them in terms of rapid scientific developments, at a time that represents an important period of time. Europe was awakened from its slumber and the Maghreb countries fell into the colonial grip.
