This study aims to explore the importance of activating smart tourism applications in displaying tourism attractions in Algeria, which directly contribute in building the image of the smart city that has become one of the basic principles on which countries ’strategies are designed, as many have adopted information and communication technology applications in all fields to improve the quality of life and its effectiveness and its economic sustainability and especially the development of its tourism sector, in order to ensure sustainable development of tourist areas. The results of this study have shown that there are some efforts made to activate applications that provide platforms for tourist attractions in Algeria, but still it remains weak and insufficient to highlight the tourism attraction factors.
