Uapaca togoensis (Aub. and Léan.) Pax, medicinal plant of the Euphorbiaceae family, is widespread in the Guinean flora and used in traditional medicine to fight against High blood pressure. The phytochimic screening carried out on the rough extract showed the presence of tannins, flavonoides, terpenes, saponosides and the trace of the alkaloid. On the other hand, the absence of coumarins was noted. The analysis by coupling GC-Mass identified a major constituent of the bis-(4-octylphenyl) amine and other components such as the alkanes among which eicosane prevails.
