Abstract

The relationship between self-identity and several forms of oral and written expression and comprehension lies in the very heart of applied linguistics, the didactics of EFL and post-modernist debate which may be the cause of alarm to foreign language teachers, researchers and didacticians alike. However, this could mean that we are moving, though slowly, in the right direction.
