الملخص
Abstract: This paper aims to evaluate the performance of banks operating in the Maghreb; by measuring their technical efficiency following a period of structural and regulatory reforms. When the rise of the intensity of competition among banks regionally and globally is taking place. The non-parametric technique for this purpose was used, which is based on one of the methods of quantitative methods (Data Envelopment Analysis). This paper used the balance sheets of the nine varying weights. statements covering the period of 2008. The results showed• an average efficiency u to 44% of these banks during the period mentioned above With the adoption of the efficiency frontier the banks were identified in the most efficient a less efficient ones. This allows the least efficient adopted as a model to improve its efficiency by banks to select the bookmarks that can be commercial banks and income
