The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency plays a central role in managing economic property, as authorized by Law No. 23/17, which regulates the allocation of the State’s private assets for investment projects. The Agency oversees the economic property portfolio, identifies suitable properties, and ensures a supply to support investment initiatives. Under Law No. 22/18 on investment, economic property has become a key guarantee for investors, and the Agency is also responsible for granting these assets to investors. This study examines economic property in Algeria in light of Law No. 23/19, focusing on the dual role of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency: managing the portfolio and facilitating allocation to investors. The research highlights the processes of provision, administration, and allocation, as well as the implications of these functions on investment development, demonstrating how the Agency contributes to creating a structured and accessible framework of economic property for national investment projects.
