Authors : Asma Kebier .

Abstract

Abstract The protection of women employees' rights has become one of the major issues in contemporary legal studies, particularly due to the evolution of public service law and the increasing participation of women in various administrative sectors. This development has required a reconsideration of the legal status of women employees through the adoption of legal guarantees that go beyond the traditional recognition of equality towards achieving effective protection that takes into account their professional and social specificities. The Algerian legislator has sought to develop the legal framework governing public service through successive legislative reforms aimed at strengthening the status of women employees, consolidating the principle of equal opportunities, guaranteeing professional rights related to career advancement, and providing specific protection related to maternity and the reconciliation of professional and family obligations.
