This study aims to highlight one of the most prominent problematics around which contemporary Arab philosophical thought revolves: the dialectic of difference. This is due to its significance in regulating the trajectories of philosophizing and defining the horizons of philosophical inquiry, as well as its role in explaining a set of contemporary concepts characterized by considerable depth and complexity, which touch upon issues of heritage, modernity, and human thought in its universality. Within his intellectual project, the thinker Taha Abderrahmane emphasized the necessity of comprehending the foundations of this dialectic and its epistemological limits, and understanding the nature of the relationship between the global and the local, and between the self and the other. This allows for the construction of an Arab philosophy based on the principle of participation, liberated from the logic of subordination to Western philosophies
