مظاهر العنف وممارساته الأكاديمية في جامعة الكويت: دراسة مقارنة للعنف الطلابي بين جيلين (2025–2000) *

الملخص

ملخص الأهداف: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن مظاهر العنف وممارساته الأكاديمية في جامعة الكويت، إضافة إلى الكشف عن مدى تغيره بين عامي 2000 و2025، مع بيان الفروق عبر أبعاد المقياس والدرجة الكلية، والتحقق مما إذا كانت هذه الفروق تستمر بعد ضبط الخصائص الديموغرافية للعينة. المنهج: اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المقارن ضمن تصميم مقطعي متكرر ذي امتداد زمني. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 1500 طالب وطالبة باستخدام المعاينة العشوائية العنقودية الطبقية. وجُمعت البيانات من خلال استبانة مغلقة تضمنت 43 فقرة تقيس أبعاد العنف بين الأفراد في البيئة الجامعية، إلى جانب المتغيرات الديموغرافية. واستُخدمت الأساليب الإحصائية الملائمة لتحليل الفروق الوصفية والاستدلالية وتقدير حجم الأثر. النتائج: أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى العنف بين الأفراد في البيئة الجامعية جاء منخفضاً في الدرجة الكلية في كلا العامين، مع بروز نسبي لممارسات العنف داخل الحرم الجامعي والعنف المدرَك فيه. كما تبين وجود انخفاض دال إحصائياً في جميع الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية عام 2025 مقارنة بعام 2000، واستمر هذا الأثر بعد ضبط المتغيرات الديموغرافية، بما يشير إلى أن الانخفاض لا يرتبط فقط باختلاف تركيب العينة، بل يعكس تحولاً أوسع في البيئة الجامعية. الخاتمة: تخلص الدراسة إلى وجود تراجع ملحوظ في العنف بين الأفراد في البيئة الجامعية بجامعة الكويت عبر الزمن. وتؤكد النتائج أهمية تعزيز السياسات الوقائية، وتطوير آليات الإبلاغ، وتوسيع برامج الإرشاد والتوعية بما يدعم بناء بيئة جامعية أكثر أمناً. الكلمات المفتاحية: العنف الأكاديمي، مظاهر العنف، ممارسات العنف، جامعة الكويت، دراسة مقطعية متكررة. * نتقدَّم بالشكر إلى إدارة الأبحاث في جامعة الكويت لتفضُّلها بدعم هذا البحث وتمويله ماليًّا ومعنويًّا مشروع بحث رقم (T001/25) . Abstract Objectives: This study aimed to identify the manifestations and practices of academic violence at Kuwait University and examine how it changed between 2000 and 2025. The study also sought to identify differences across the dimensions of the scale and the total score and determine if these differences persisted when controlling for the demographic characteristics of the sample. Method: The study employed a comparative, descriptive, and analytical approach within a repeated cross-sectional design over time. The sample consisted of 1,500 male and female students who were selected via stratified cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a 43-item, closed-ended questionnaire measuring interpersonal violence dimensions in the university environment, as well as demographic variables. Appropriate statistical methods were used to analyze descriptive and inferential differences, as well as to estimate effect sizes. Results: The findings showed that the overall level of interpersonal violence in the university environment was low in both years, with relatively greater prominence of campus violence and perceptions of campus violence. The results also revealed a statistically significant decline in all dimensions and the total score in 2025 compared to 2000. This effect remained after controlling for demographic variables, indicating that the decline was not merely associated with differences in sample composition but rather reflected a broader change in the university environment. Conclusion: This study concludes that interpersonal violence at Kuwait University has shown a noticeable decline over time. The findings underscore the importance of strengthening preventive policies, improving reporting mechanisms, and expanding counseling and awareness programs to promote a safer university environment.
