الانسحاب العسكري الفرنسي من دول الساحل الإفريقي :نحو قراءة تحليلية للأسباب والتداعيات .

الملخص: تسلط هذه الدراسة الضوء على محاولة فهم أسباب الانسحاب العسكري الفرنسي من دول الساحل الإفريقي بالتركيز على المحددات المتحكمة في الاهتمام الفرنسي بالمنطقة وكذا تحليل التداعيات الناتجة عن هذا الانسحاب، حيث توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الفشل الذي واجهته فرنسا في محاربة الإرهاب في المنطقة قد ولّد موجة عداء للوجود العسكري الفرنسي بدول الساحل خاصة مع طرح القوى المنافسة لبدائل تطوير شراكات أمنية واقتصادية مع دول المنطقة، حيث نتج عن هذا الانسحاب تصاعد حدّة التهديدات الأمنية والإرهابية في ظل التحديات الداخلية التي تعانيها دول المنطقة وتغيّر المعادلة الأمنية الإقليمية ومحاوله القوى المنافسة لفرنسا استغلال تراجع النفوذ الفرنسي في المنطقة. Abstract: This study sheds light on the structural causes underlying the French military withdrawal from the African Sahel region by primarily focusing on the determinants shaping French strategic interests in the area, as well as analyzing the multifaceted repercussions of this disengagement. In this venue, the study argues that France’s failure to effectively counter terrorism in the region engendered a wave of public and political hostility toward its military presence. This withdrawal was further exacerbated by the emergence of rival global powers offering alternative security and economic partnerships to regional states. Consequently, this military drawdown has catalyzed an escalation of security and terrorist threats, particularly when viewed in light of the severe domestic crises plaguing the Sahel nations. Ultimately, these intersecting dynamics have altered the regional security paradigm, thereby allowing competing powers to capitalize on the palpable decline of French influence.
