Entrepreneurship in Algeria has been known to be among the most critical systems implemented by the government in order to attract investments, create job opportunities, and lower unemployment levels. The state has put measures in place which include creating a legal and institutional environment that supports entrepreneurs starting from when they have their ideas through to the development of their businesses. It is therefore safe to say that entrepreneurship has played a very critical role in development since the government relies on it in order to meet certain objectives. This is due to changes taking place globally in terms of economics. The recent years have seen some of the most significant changes that have taken place in the agencies responsible for offering support to entrepreneurs, and state has moved from a logic of simply supporting employment to a logic of building an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem based on financing, support, training, innovation and digitalization.
