Abstract

The cadastral survey process is a technical and legal operation carried out by specialized administrative institutions. It passes through several stages, aiming to uncover the legal status of the surveyed properties and identify their owners. To carry out this process, several legal procedures must be undertaken during the preparatory phase, field phase, and post-survey phase. The cadastral survey process results in several effects, such as temporary and final property numbering and the preparation and issuance of the property register, which is considered a title deed for the owners of the surveyed properties. Through this research paper, we address in the first section the practical stages of the cadastral survey process, and in the second section, we examine the legal effects resulting from the cadastral survey process.
