This research addresses the topic of the mixed-methods approach as a modern research methodology that seeks to transcend the traditional dichotomy between quantitative and qualitative methods through an integrative approach that allows for a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of scientific phenomena, particularly social ones, which have become highly complex and which cannot be comprehensively understood by relying on a single methodological approach. Therefore, through this research, we seek to highlight the justifications for adopting an integrative approach between methodologies, as defined by the most prominent contemporary methodological theorists. It has become clear that the adoption of a mixed-methods approach in scientific research is no longer merely a methodological addition, but rather a necessary methodological orientation for achieving a deeper understanding and accuracy in results.
