Predictive Study Of Electricity Sales In Algeria (january 2020-december 2025)

Abstract
In this study, we will apply the Box-Jenkins methodology to the monthly series of electricity sales in Algeria over the period from January 2019 to December 2024. The Box-Jenkins forecasting methodology is one of the oldest statistical methods, requiring a large amount of data. In our case, we have 84 observations and therefore expect to obtain a high-quality forecast using Eviews 12 software for the standard processing of the series under study. This study focuses on a series representing electricity sales in Algeria, which shows national electricity sales over the period from January 2020 to December 2025.
