From Linear To Circular Economy: Environmental Performance And Sustainable Development In Six Economies

Abstract
This study examines the strategic transition from a linear economic model to a circular economy within the broader framework of green economy strategies. It analyzes how this transition can enhance resource efficiency, mitigate environmental degradation, and support sustainable economic development .This research is based on a comparative analysis of pioneering global models .The findings reveal that this transition requires a fundamental restructuring of public policies, leading to significant transformations in production and consumption patterns, as well as a reorientation of investments toward the development and preservation of natural capital.
