Abstract This study aims to examine the Uthmānic script (Rasm al-Muṣḥaf al-ʿUthmānī) as one of the distinctive characteristics of the Noble Qur'an, and to explore its miraculous and semantic dimensions as well as their impact on understanding the Qur'anic meaning. It begins by defining the concept of the Uthmānic script and outlining its principal characteristics, while highlighting its role in preserving the Qur'anic text and accommodating the authentic mutawātir (mass-transmitted) Qur'anic readings (Qirāʾāt) in which the Qur'an was revealed. The study further investigates the most prominent manifestations of the miraculous nature of the Uthmānic script through an analysis of its orthographic phenomena, including omission (ḥadhf), addition (ziyādah), separation (faṣl), and conjunction (waṣl). It demonstrates the scientific and rhetorical subtleties embedded in these features and their contribution to broadening the horizons of Qur'anic understanding and contemplation (tadabbur). Moreover, the research examines a number of applied examples that reveal the relationship between the Uthmānic script and Qur'anic meaning, illustrating the role of the Uthmānic orthography in guiding Qur'anic exegesis (tafsīr) and enriching semantic interpretation. The study adopts the descriptive-analytical approach by surveying the relevant texts and specialized sources on the sciences of Rasm (Qur'anic orthography) and Ḍabṭ (orthographic notation), while critically analyzing the views of both classical and contemporary scholars in this field. It also adheres to sound scholarly principles in deriving semantic implications from the Uthmānic script, avoiding unwarranted interpretation and exaggeration. The study concludes that the Uthmānic script constitutes a unique orthographic system that has played a fundamental role in preserving the Noble Qur'an and safeguarding its canonical readings. It further demonstrates that many of its orthographic features embody significant semantic and miraculous dimensions worthy of further investigation, thereby underscoring the importance of incorporating the study of the Uthmānic script into contemporary Qur'anic and exegetical scholarship
