The Role Of Banks In Activating The Stock Exchange

Abstract
The Algerian Stock Exchange has been characterized by stagnation despite the support provided by the state, There are many reasons for this, The Algerian legislature has attempted to support Algerian banks with an arsenal of laws to activate the stock market, These laws enable banks to establish and finance new companies capable of issuing securities, They can also assist national companies in offering their shares or bonds on the stock market. The legislator also authorized it to issue bonds through a mortgage refinancing company, in addition to its work as a trustee institution for some newly established companies . Keywords: Banks, Stock Exchange, Shares, Bonds, Financial Intermediary, Investment Portfolio الملخص: تتميز البورصة الجزائرية بالركود بالرغم من التدعيمات التي تقدمها الدولة لها، وأسباب ذلك كثيرة ولقد حاول المشرع الجزائري أن يدعم البنوك الجزائرية بترسانة من القوانين لتفعيل سوق البورصة ،من خلال إنشاءها وتمويلها لشركات جديدة قادرة على إصدار أوراق مالية ،كما لها أن ترافق الشركات الوطنية في طرح أسهمها أو سنداتها في سوق البورصة، كما أجاز لها المشرع إصدار سندات عن طريق شركة إعادة التمويل الرهني ، زيادة على عملها كمؤسسة مؤتمنة لبعض الشركات المستحدثة.
