Scholarly centers proliferated, teeming with knowledge and scholars. Authorship flourished across all disciplines, and schools, mosques, Sufi lodges, and hospices experienced significant intellectual activity, particularly the renowned mosques of the Levant, such as the Umayyad Mosque. The number of scholars increased, and specializations in Islamic sciences, including jurisprudence, hadith, and Quranic studies, diversified. Despite the political circumstances in the region, particularly the Crusades, this did not hinder the spread of knowledge and scholars. Keywords: Levant, sciences, centers, activity
