Scientific research is one of the most fundamental processes upon which the university is based. It relies on researchers, professors, and university students, particularly third-year undergraduate students, master’s students, and doctoral candidates, who are required to prepare dissertations and theses for graduation through scientific research on various and innovative topics. This process involves revealing scientific facts through accurate methods in order to achieve effective results. Such outcomes can only be attained when university students rely on scientific research tools that enable them to work effectively and according to a precise methodology that ensures the quality of scientific research. The changes that have affected various human societies have made digitization influential across all areas of life and among different segments of society. Consequently, the university, as an active institution within society, has been affected by the new transformations in the digital environment. These transformations can positively influence scientific research among university students, provided that they are properly selected and effectively integrated into the research process
