لغة التبسيط العلمي بين اللغة العلمية المتخصصة و اللغة العامة

الملخص
In this paper, we aim to shed the light on the characteristics of both specialized and general language, and to discuss the nature of science popularization's language in comparison with the two previous ones. In order to clarify this idea, we define each one, and as it is obviously known, specialized language has a high level of complication and can't be understood by the general public, the reason why the interesting scientific facts are not shared with all ranges of society, and only scientists can use such languages. Therefore, the necessity of science popularization is shown up playing its function that consists in clarifying the difficult terms and the ambiguous concepts, and explaining scientific knowledge in a simple comprehensible way, in order to enlighten the general people and render the scientific discoveries available for everyone. On the light of these definitions, science popularization's language is neither a specialized language, nor a common language, it’s a mixture that seems to be a general simple language with special characteristics such as informative style and scientific content. Besides to the science popularization's role in sharing knowledge, it has an essential impact in simplifying the translation process, overcoming terminological difficulties and rendering a scientific specialized texts more comprehensible and easier to be translated by general and novice translators.
