Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing Islamic finance by automating Sharia compliance, improving risk management, and personalizing services, all while adhering to ethical principles such as the absence of riba (interest) or gharar (usury). In Algeria, as banking digitalization progresses, artificial intelligence is supporting ongoing transformations, even though its specific application in Islamic finance remains in its infancy. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of AI in the real-time analysis of contracts and transactions through advanced algorithms to detect non-compliance and Sharia robo-advisors that automate ethical decision-making. The results of this study confirm that despite the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence, particularly by Middle Eastern banks, several challenges remain, including data security, regulatory compliance, and a lack of AI skills and expertise
