Authors : Mentalecheta Chafik .

Abstract

Abstract Modern technology has facilitated integration and connection among individuals across borders, where digital technology has broken geographical and temporal boundaries. Conversely, the latter has directly affected transnational organized crime by turning cyberspace or the digital environment into a virtual arena for such crimes. This change has imposed challenges and obstacles of a digital, international, legal, and political nature on efforts to combat organized crime in its various forms, which target not just a single state but multiple states, thereby necessitating international solidarity and cooperation to confront this type of crime.
