Abstract

This study aimes to explore the reality of using information programs in diagnosing written language disorders, with dyslexia as a case study. To achieve this objective, we adopted a descriptive methodology. The sample consisted of 27 practicing speech-language pathologists from 12 provinces in Algeria.we distributed a questionnaire containing 12 questions divided into three sections : the first section collected personal information about each speciatist, while the second and third sections addresed the tools they use to diagnose dyslexia and the possibility of employing information programs for this purpose . The results revealed sereval challenges and difficulties related to the diagnosis of dyslexia, including the scarcity of appropriate diagnostic tools and the complete absence of programs that assist in performing this process accurately and efficiently.
