The article investigates the relationship between digital anthropology and youth studies, particularly in Arab contexts, highlighting how digital technologies transform young people's identities and sociocultural practices. It utilizes frameworks like the political economy of technology, Bourdieu's cultural capital in digital spaces, and Miller and Horst's digital anthropology definition to analyze structural inequalities and cultural norms shaping digital engagement. A systematic literature review covers digital ethnographies and participatory research across various Arab nations. Key findings reveal that digital platforms serve as contested spaces where Arab youth blend global influences with local identities, leading to hybrid cultural expressions. While digital content creation aids identity formation and economic practices, Arabic-language content is significantly underrepresented. The study emphasizes challenges of digital inequality and proposes an interdisciplinary research agenda to better understand Arab youth's complex digital experiences.
