This research examines the impact of street culture on the process of socialization within the family, as one of the most important institutions responsible for shaping an individual’s personality and regulating social behavior. The study highlights the conflict between the role of the family and that of the street in instilling values and norms, especially in light of the increasing amount of time children spend outside the family environment. The research adopted the descriptive method using a questionnaire and was applied to an exclusive sample of male and female teachers at Jami’ Al-Toghar Secondary School in the Sahl Al-Jafara region. The findings revealed that street culture negatively affects children’s behavior through weakened family supervision, reduced dialogue within the family, and the acquisition of socially and religiously undesirable behaviors. The study also showed that families attempt to limit these effects through various means, but face significant challenges.
