Women's health is one of the subjects that has received attention from both divine and secular laws in their various forms, as women are an integral part of society. Islamic Sharia has addressed women's and children's health in several contexts, including the Holy Quran and the Noble Prophetic Sunnah, as they constitute the two foundations of the Islamic religion. Subsequently, international law emerged in its early stages, establishing several human rights principles for the protection of women within the framework of the International Bill of Rights. This was followed by successive international and regional conventions, along with their accompanying protocols, conferences, and reports, all aimed at protecting women's sexual and reproductive health.
