Profession: Between Enhancing Operational Efficiency And Preserving Professional Ethics Case Study Of A Sample Of Academics And Professionals In The Field Of Accounting And Auditing

Abstract

Abstract: This study looks at how cloud accounting helps make audit procedures more efficient while also considering the challenges of maintaining professional ethics, aiming to measure the impact of using cloud accounting in the auditing field. Through a survey of current pertinent literature and an examination of the effects of digital transformation on the auditing workplace, the study is founded on a descriptive-analytical methodology. The study concluded that the adoption of cloud accounting has significantly contributed to improving the efficiency of audit processes by accelerating access to financial data, enhancing the accuracy of audit reviews, and reducing operational costs, in addition to supporting continuous and real-time auditing. On the other hand, the results showed that this transformation imposes increasing ethical and professional challenges, represented by information security risks, data confidentiality issues, auditor independence, and excessive reliance on cloud service providers تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى قياس أثر تطبيق المحاسبة السحابية على مهنة التدقيق، من خلال الموازنة بين دورها في رفع الكفاءة التشغيلية لعمليات التدقيق وبين التحديات المرتبطة بالحفاظ على أخلاقيات المهنة، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، من خلال مراجعة الأدبيات الحديثة ذات الصلة، وتحليل انعكاسات التحول الرقمي على بيئة العمل التدقيقي. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن تطبيق المحاسبة السحابية أسهم بشكل ملحوظ في تحسين كفاءة عمليات التدقيق، عبر تسريع الوصول إلى البيانات المالية، وتعزيز دقة الفحص، وتخفيض التكاليف التشغيلية، إضافة إلى دعم التدقيق المستمر وفي الوقت الحقيقي،وفي المقابل، أظهرت النتائج أن هذا التحول يفرض تحديات أخلاقية ومهنية متزايدة، تتمثل في مخاطر أمن المعلومات، وسرية البيانات، واستقلالية المدقق، والاعتماد المفرط على مزودي الخدمات السحابية.
