The Sale Of Real Estate Assets Owned By Missing Persons In Algerian Law

Abstract
Through this article, the Algerian legislator has organized the provisions relating to missing persons in accordance with the Family Code. However, the procedures for the sale of their real estate assets were not addressed until the enactment of Law No. 08-09, containing the Code of Civil and Administrative Procedure. This law established specific procedures regarding the disposal of such property in an effort to protect the missing person. Nevertheless, these procedures have been characterized by certain deficiencies.
