Constitutional Reform And The Rationalization Of The Exercise Of Power In The Algerian Political System After 2020

Abstract

This study analyzes how the 2020 constitutional amendment contributes to rationalizing the exercise of power by examining the substance of constitutional reforms and their impact on institutional performance. It focuses on relations among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, emphasizing cooperation and balance, and employs institutional, systems, and descriptive–analytical approaches. The study concludes that the amendment represents an important step toward rationalizing power, though its effectiveness depends on practical and institutional implementation.
