This study examines the impact of fiscal policy on economic growth in Algeria over the period 2000–2022, using a multiple regression and (OLS) method. Fiscal policy variables were employed to capture government intervention in the economy, while economic growth was measured by real GDP growth. The empirical results reveal a positive and significant relationship between fiscal policy and economic growth. This finding suggests that expansionary fiscal measures, particularly public expenditure, have played a supportive role in stimulating economic activity in Algeria. The positive effect can be explained by the role of government spending in enhancing aggregate demand, improving infrastructure, and supporting key productive sectors. The results highlight the importance of an efficient fiscal policy framework in promoting sustainable economic growth, especially in developing and resource-dependent economies such as Algeria
