In this context, this study highlights the value of the Bichat ball technique for closing alveolar-sinus communications and evaluates its effectiveness through a clinical case managed at the Department of Oral Pathology and Surgery at the Tlemcen University Hospital. The patient was a 27-year-old woman with no significant medical history, in whom a difficult extraction of the left maxillary second molar resulted in a bucco-sinus communication. Management consisted of minimally invasive closure of the defect using the vestibular flap with the bichat's buccal fat pad, yielding satisfactory results. Thus, bucco-sinus communications are common complications in oral surgery, the treatment of which is predominantly surgical, and the technique used in this case, widely described in the literature, confirms its efficacy.
