The article addresses the issue of the proposed demolition of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the construction of the Third Temple from religious, historical, and political perspectives. It clarifies that the Torah does not explicitly order the destruction of existing structures but emphasizes the sanctity of the place and its connection to the "chosen" people. Religious interpretation evolved from the Talmud to Kabbalah and later to religious Zionism, turning the Temple from a spiritual symbol into a political project, blending religion with settlement and territorial control. The article highlights that the demolition of Al-Aqsa today is not a Torah mandate but a political tool for dominance and exclusion, raising ethical questions about using sacred texts to justify violence. It proposes focusing on the spiritual temple and protecting human rights and sacred sites in line with UN resolutions.
