The Impact Of Ethical Leadership On Work Engagement: The Moderating Role Of Employee Well-being -africaver Study Case-

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to identify the impact of ethical leadership on employees’ work engagement, considering the moderating role of employee well-being. The research was conducted in AFRICAVER, a glass production company in Jijel, with a sample of 44 employees. Using a structured questionnaire and correlation analysis and a regression model, the results revealed strong positive correlations between ethical leadership, wellbeing, and work engagement. However, regression analysis revealed that while the overall model was significant, the effect of each variable individually did not reach statistical significance. The overall result led to: ethical leadership contributes to higher levels of work engagement when supported by employee well-being. Jel Classification Codes: M14, M54, J28. ملخص: يهدف هذا المقال إلى تحديد أثر القيادة الأخلاقية على الانخراط الوظيفي للعاملين، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار الدور الوسيطي لرفاهية الموظفين. أُجري هذا البحث في شركة أفريكافير الجزائرية لإنتاج الزجاج بولاية جيجل، على عينة من 44 موظفًا. باستخدام استبيان مُهيكل وتحليلات إحصائية تتضمن نموذجي الارتباط والانحدار، كشفت النتائج عن وجود ارتباطات إيجابية قوية بين القيادة الأخلاقية والرفاهية والانخراط في العمل. ومع ذلك، كشف تحليل الانحدار أنه على الرغم من دلالة النموذج الكلي، إلا أن تأثير كل متغير على حدة لم يصل إلى دلالة إحصائية، مما يشير إلى أن العلاقة معقدة. وخلصت النتيجة الإجمالية إلى أن القيادة الأخلاقية تُسهم في رفع مستويات الانخراط الوظيفي في العمل عندما تُدعم برفاهية الموظفين. الكلمات المفتاحية: قيادة أخلاقية، إنخراط وظيفي، رفاهية الموظفين، أثر وسيطي، أداء تنظيمي.
