This study aims to identify the damage caused by waste, especially environmental pollution, where the environment has become more vulnerable to pollution, especially with the increase of waste left by human activity as it leads to the creation of pollution in a direct or indirect way; it also highlights the most important mechanisms for compensation for environmental damage, whether Through state intervention or by resorting to insurance or by relying on compensation funds. Among the most important results reached is that waste poses a great danger to the environment and therefore the state is obligated to compensation; it is obliged to compensate for those damages that result from the installations and sites of the state, while the majority of modern legislation requires the presence of insurance or any other financial guarantee to compensate for environmental damage, and guarantee Compensating the affected people takes one of two forms, either through insurance or through compensation funds
