:Abstract Linguistic and archaeological studies indicate that Tifinagh belongs to the Phoenician-Punic family that spread in the Mediterranean basin. However, some researchers assume the existence of links or mutual influences with writing styles in southern Arabia, such as the Musnad script. This hypothesis is based on several elements, including: the overall similarity between some letters, and the fact of commercial-maritime communication between the Berbers and the inhabitants of southern Arabia in particular, via the Red Sea and the Indian Ocea, Despite the lack of conclusive evidence, comparing Tifinagh script with South Arabian Musnad inscriptions reveals undeniable points of convergence, both in terms of form and function. This confirms that North Africa was not isolated from the dynamics of cultural and commercial exchange in the .ancient world
