Promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing preventable diseases requires integrating health education into elementary schools. This review explores how technology can strengthen such efforts through interdisciplinary pedagogy, particularly in low-resource settings where school-based programs often face challenges. It highlights the importance of early interventions in nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and emotional well-being, while showing how digital tools—such as games, simulations, and mobile applications—encourage engagement, inclusivity, and positive behavior change. Drawing on the TPACK framework and four pedagogical models—constructivist, project- and inquiry-based, narrative learning, simulation and coping-skills training, and gamified pedagogy—the review synthesizes global evidence on effective strategies. It critically examines barriers including cultural sensitivity, curriculum misalignment, teacher preparedness, and infrastructure gaps. Practical insights are offered through a stepwise integration model and international case studies from Finland, South Korea, Australia, and Jordan. Findings emphasize that successful digital health education depends on system-wide cooperation, aligned curricula, inclusive pedagogy, and continuous support from educators, professionals, and policymakers.
