Employing chaos theory, this study analyzes Algeria's university-socioeconomic linkages through the logistic map model. The system's dynamics are controlled by the institutional intensity r, representing the capacity of scientific research institutions. At moderate intensity (r=2.5), linkages reach stable equilibrium. Higher intensity (r=3.2) induces bifurcation and oscillatory behavior. The final results for r=3.6 and 3.9 show that excessive institutional drive pushes the system into deterministic chaos, where outcomes become unpredictable. This demonstrates that the role of scientific research institutions is not linear; maximizing their intensity is counterproductive. Therefore, fostering sustainable linkages requires scientific research institutions to provide calibrated, adaptive support rather than maximal intervention.
