Abstract: The twenty-first century witnessed unprecedented scientific and technological developments in human history, particularly in the biological field. Scientists' attention shifted from controlling nature to focusing on the biological sciences, and scientific penetration of the human organism. This has made the human body a subject of experiments aimed at changing human nature and the laws of creation, such as cloning, genetic engineering, and other methods, to control the human of the future. The development of biotechnology has created anxiety and fear for the fate of man, which has led to the emergence of bioethics as a philosophical branch for questioning science with the aim of ethicizing medical practice to view man as a person. as a subject and an object, instead of viewing him as a biological material body, Therefore, my study aims to shed light on the role of bioethics in facing contemporary challenges represented by the attempt to fence medical practice off from the living organism and the extent of its ability to reconcile medicine and ethics. Accordingly, one of the results reached is that Bioethics as a normative science and a reaction to science, and especially biomedical techniques, cannot achieve harmony between medicine and ethics because bioethics focuses on what should be, and therefore cannot change what is in the present and what will be in the future. Because science has no limits and will not end until humanity becomes extinct, and as long as reality and time change, science will in turn keep pace with this process, and thus bioethics remains a lesson for awareness.
