The International Judiciary Impact On The Interpretation Of International Treaties

Abstract
The international judiciary plays a pivotal role in the field of interpretation of international treaties and how to apply them, as the International Court of Justice is considered the main judicial body concerned with examining and interpreting treaties in preparation for adjudicating international disputes brought before it, in addition to providing advice and fatwas to the United Nations in its various branches. This role is also performed by international arbitration courts and regional courts based on the general principles and complementary means of interpretation stipulated by the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.
