The study highlights the conditions related to the Algerian Hajj caravan during the Ottoman period. The relationship between Algerians and the Ottomans was distinct from that of other nations, and Algerians demonstrated a profound belonging to the Holy Lands since the Ottoman presence in the region. In taking a similar Hajj pilgrimage as Muslims, Algerians as well as other Algerians, are documented as early as the Ottoman Empire as taking these overland journeys shaped social and cultural aspects of the Algerian society and devoted these aspects as elements of cultural heritage. The under-documented aspects of these overland journeys are the social and cultural elements of a tourist voyage and the journeys themselves. In this case, the overland pilgrimage journeys undertaken by Algerians and the purpose, which are the Algerian Hajj caravans of the Ottoman era .
