Presentation Of The Historical Stages Of The Maximum Aerobic Power Of The Child (from 1938 To The Presentday).

Authors : Goumidi Mohammed Lamine .

Abstract

The energyrequired to perform a prolongedsub-maximum or maximum exercisedependsessentially on aerobicmetabolism. Cross-country (2000-3000 m) or cross-country (10 km in the Marathon) eventsrequire a particularly high aerobicability. However, thisaerobicabilityislargely multi-factorial (Noakes, 1988). It has been shownthattwosubjects can have identical maximum oxygenconsumption (VO2max) but obtainverydifferentchronometric performances, up to more thanthree minutes over a 10 km (Morgan et al., 1989). However, itturns out that in activities lasting about seven minutes, a high VO2 max is a necessary condition, but not sufficient. For example, the mechanicalefficiencythatis how to spendenergyduring a trip (withequalamount of energy, isit a large or smallconsumer?) is a performance factor that must beconsidered.
