البحث عن أرشيف العهد العثماني في الجزائر (1519-1830): إمكانية العثور على وثائق جديدة.

الملخص
الملخص باللغة العربيّة: إحدى أعوص المشكلات التي تواجه الباحث في حقل التاريخ هي حصر أماكن تواجد الأرشيف الذي يخدم بحثه. وتختلف هكذا مشكلة تبعا لاختلاف الفترة المدروسة والظروف المحيطة بها، لاسيما قدر الاهمال أو الاتلاف الذي لحق بأرشيفها. وبهذا الخصوص، تجسد الفترة العثمانية في الجزائر أحد الأمثلة الأكثر تعبيرا؛ إذ عرف أرشيفها انتكاسة قلّ نظيرها في خضم التطورات المأساوية التي ميزت بدايات الاحتلال الفرنسي للبلاد، ما أسفر عن ضياع أجزاء معتبرة منه. بيد أنه لا يستقيم وضع تلك الانتكاسة، كما يعتقد الكثيرون، على حساب عاملي الاتلاف والإهمال فحسب، إذ كان لسلوكيات أخرى أقل ظهورا للعيان يد طولى في ما حدث. وليس أقلَها خطورةً قيامُ بعض الخواص من موظفي قطاع الأرشيف والمكتبات بالاستحواذ على كميات هامة من تلك الوثائق الأرشيفية. ومن أسطع الأدلة على ذلك، تضمينهم العديد من الكتب التي نشروها لاحقا صورا لوثائق نادرة لا نعثر على أصول لها في أيٍ من دور المحفوظات المعروفة. ومن ثم، فإن هذه الدراسة نستهدف التأكيد على أهمية التنقيب في طيات مثل تلك الكتب، لما قد تحويه من وثائق نادرة لا وجود لمثيل لها في أي مكان آخر في العالم. وتعزيزا لهذا الطرح، عمدنا الى تشريح نموذجين من هذه الكتب، وذلك بجرد الوثائق المتعلقة بالجزائر العثمانية التي تضمنتها مع تحليل المعلومات الواردة في بعضها. Abstract : (In English) One of the thorniest problems that historians often face is locating the archives that are necessary for their research. However, the acuteness of such a problem varies depending on the period studied and the circumstances surrounding it, including the extent of destruction or neglect to its archives. In this regard, the Ottoman period in Algeria is one of the most edifying examples; given that its archives had suffered an unprecedented disaster, during the tragic events which characterized the beginnings of the French occupation, and had resulted in the loss of a considerable part of the aforementioned documents. However, it is inappropriate, if not unfair, to endorse this disaster, as many do, solely on the factors of destruction and neglect, because other less visible behaviors had largely contributed to it. Among which, and not the least dangerous, the selfish conduct of some archives and library officials in stealing documents for their own personal use. One of the clearest evidence of this "crime" lies in the very books they had taken care of subsequently published, which contained copies of documents the originals of which cannot be found in any archive center. - That said, this study aims to highlight the importance of exploiting these kinds of books, as they may contain rare documents that have no equivalent anywhere else in the world. To support this thesis, we have dissected two examples of these books, listing the documents relating to Ottoman Algeria that they contained, and highlighting the importance of the data contained in some of them.
