Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of motor coordination training in improving anaerobic capacities in football players. Which are the maximal running speed (MRS) or called also velocity in the intermittent fitness test (VIFT) and the anaerobic speed reserve (ASR). The sample included 22 senior soccer players from the CROA (Club Riadhi Ouled Allal) amateur football club. An experimental approach was employed, where a training program was implemented for 09 weeks; the results were extrapolated from the application of the (30-15IFT) test to assess both before and after a training program. The training program focused on enhancing motor coordination through specific exercises. The findings indicated that the motor coordination training program led to improvements in both maximal running speed (MRS) and anaerobic speed reserve (ASR) in the intervention group. However, there was no significant difference between the intervention group and a control group in terms of MRS and ASR.
