Share Prices Of Tourism Companies On The Stock Exchange During The Covid-19 Pandemic -descriptive Study Of Some Tourism And Hotel Companies Listed On The Amman Stock Exchange During The Period (october 2019 - June 2022)-

Abstract
This research paper aims to study the stock prices of some tourism and hotel companies listed on Amman Stock Exchange during the novel corona virus pandemic. To do so, the descriptive approach is used, which is suitable for studying the average monthly share prices of these companies on the stock exchange during the period from October 2019 to June 2022. A period that covers months before the outbreak of the pandemic in Amman in March 2020, the pandemic period, and months following it. We concluded that the shares prices under study witnessed a decrease to varying levels due to the quarantine measures and the closure of airports and travel ports taken by the Jordanian government. With the beginning of recovery from the pandemic in the Kingdom in March 2022, most of the prices of the studied shares began to rise starting in April 2022.
