Cybersecurity As One Of The Pillars Of Digital Transformation In Organizations: Selected International Experiences

Abstract
This study aims to highlight the role of cybersecurity as one of the key pillars for the success of digital transformation in organizations, by analyzing selected successful international experiences in this field. The study adopts a descriptive–analytical approach based on reviewing relevant academic literature and international reports, with a focus on leading countries in digital transformation. The study finds that strengthening cybersecurity significantly contributes to enhancing digital trust, protecting data, and ensuring service continuity, which in turn supports organizational performance and improves the effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives. The results also show that successful international experiences are built on clear national cybersecurity strategies, robust legal and regulatory frameworks, human capacity building, and the integration of technical and organizational dimensions. Accordingly, the study recommends integrating cybersecurity into institutional digital transformation strategies, strengthening public–private partnerships, investing in human capital development, and benefiting from international experiences in a manner consistent with national institutional contexts.
