الملخص

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the representations of history and memory in the contemporary Algerian novel and uncover their manifestations. These two elements are intrinsically linked; the mention of history immediately evokes memory, and vice versa. History cannot be narrated without memory, which in turn recalls past events that vary from one novel to another. This recall may manifest in the present or even project into the future (as a dream). Memory serves as a creative workshop for producing numerous fictional works, such as "I Was Honored by Your Departure" by Fairouz Recham, "Confessions of the Man Coming from the Darkness" by Brahim Saadi, and "The Harki" by Mohamed Ben Jebbbar, among other Algerian writers who documented Algerian history through its two most pivotal stages: the War of Independence and the Black Decade. But how is this achieved? The central problematic of this study revolves around the relationship between history and memory, considering the latter as the carrier of historical events. Through memory, the past is narrated—it is its window. Without it, we would not be able to summon the past, nor would writers be able to use it as an effective tool to enrich their creative texts and imbue them with a historical character. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى البحث في تمثلات التاريخ والذاكرة في الرواية الجزائرية المعاصرة، والكشف عن تجلياتها، ذلك لأنهما عنصران متلازمان، فبمجرد التلفظ بمصطلح التاريخ أو سماعه نستحضر الذاكرة أو العكس تماما، إذ لا يمكن رواية التاريخ دون الذاكرة التي تستدعي بدورها أحداثا ماضية تختلف من رواية الى أخرى، كما يمكن أن يكون تداعيها في الزمن الحاضر، أو المستقبل (الحلم). فالذاكرة بمثابة ورشة لإنتاج العديد من الأعمال الروائية كرواية "تشرفت برحيلك" لفيروز رشام، و"بوح الرجل القادمة من الظلام "لإبراهيم سعدي، و"الحركي" لمحمد بن جبار وغيرها من الاسماء الجزائرية التي كتبت عن التاريخ الجزائري بأهم مرحلتين مرّ بهما، الثورة التحريرية والعشرية السوداء فكيف ذلك؟ 1. يمكن القول بأنّ الإشكالية الرئيسية التي بنيت عليها أسس هذه الدراسة تقوم حول العلاقة بين التاريخ والذاكرة باعتبار هذه الأخيرة هي الحاملة للأحداث التّاريخية، بفضلها يروى الماضي بل هي نافذته، ولولاها لما تمكّننا من استحضار الماضي، وما تمكّن الأدباء من ذلك فهي أداة فعالة تسهم في افعام نصوصهم الإبداعية، تفضي عليها طابعا تاريخيا.
