الملخص

ان البناء القديم والثمين للمدن و الاحياء العتيقة في فضاء معين ينتج لسكانها هوية حضرية معينة مليئة باحداث و ذكريات سواءا كانت جماعية او فردية مما يجعل تلك البيئة الحضرية ذات معنى تاريخي ،حضري،سكني و جواري. غالبا ما تتشكل في هذه البيئة الحضرية الذاكرة الجماعية بموروثها التاريخي و الاجتماعي و الثقافي ، حيث تشكل نسيجا حيا يعيد تشكيل الفضاء و هوية الافراد فيه .و في سياق الجزائر مابعد الاستقلال و تملك الفضاء السكني بعد الاستقلال مباشرة ، لعب المسكن دورا هاما ،فلم يعد المسكن مجرد حيزا جامدا ماديا للإقامة فقط ، بل تحول الى فضاء محمل بالرموز و الدلالات التي تمثل هوية و ثقافة الساكن في مسكنه. دون ان ننسى ان تلك السكنات أوروبية في الأصل مغايرة عن ثقافته وهويته وحوَلهاإلى ممارسات جديدة تتماشى مع ثقافته حسب تصوراته ومعتقداته إلى فضاء للعيش يليق بهويته . The old and valuable construction of cities and historic neighbourhoods within a given space generates for its inhabitants a particular urban identity, which is rich with both individual and collective memories and events. This enriches the urban environment with historical, residential, and communal significance. Within such an urban environment, collective memory is often shaped by its historical, social, and cultural heritage. It forms a living fabric that reshapes both space and the identities of its inhabitants. In the context of post-independence Algeria, and the immediate ownership of residential spaces following independence, housing played a significant role. It was no longer perceived as a static, material space for residence alone, but rather as a symbolic environment imbued with meanings that reflect the identity and culture of its resident. It is important to note that these dwellings were originally European and foreign to the local culture and identity, and they transformed them into lived spaces aligned with the inhabitants’ practices, perceptions, beliefs, and cultural identity.
