The Role Of Sustainable Agricultural Development Policies In Achieving Food Security In Algeria

Abstract
The agricultural sector plays an important role in economic activity and has a significant impact on all economic, social, and political fields. Sustainable agricultural development is one of the goals of sustainable agriculture, through which the achievement of sustainable food security is ensured. Algeria has given importance to the implementation of this policy in order to overcome the problems of dependency and to meet the food needs of future generations. We reach the conclusion that despite the efforts made by decision-makers and those responsible for the agricultural sector, there is still a decline in the level of agricultural policy outputs, which prevents the achievement of sustainable agricultural development.
