المخطوطات الجزائرية إبان الاحتلال الفرنسي بين الفهرسة والتدمير الثقافي

الملخص
تسعى هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تسليط الضوء على واقع المخطوطات الجزائرية إبان الاحتلال الفرنسي من خلال جهود الفهرسة من جهة والنهب والتدمير من جهة أخرى. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تبيان محاولات المستشرقين لفهرسة المخطوطات والذي أدى إلى توثيق جانب مهم من التراث الجزائري، بغض النظر عن الأهداف الاستعمارية الكامنة خلفه؛ إضافة إلى الدور الذي لعبه الاحتلال الفرنسي في عمليات النهب والسلب والسرقة والتدمير والتهجير الذي تعرضت له المخطوطات مما أدى إلى فقدان جزء كبير منه. تقوم الدراسة على استخدام المنهج التاريخي الذي يتناسب مع طبيعة الموضوع وأهدافه من أجل تغطية جميع الجوانب التي ستناقشها هذه الورقة، والتي تشمل ثلاث نقاط أساسية: - واقع التراث الجزائري المكتوب قبل الاحتلال الفرنسي. - فهرسة المخطوطات أثناء الاحتلال الفرنسي. - نهب وتدمير المخطوطات الجزائرية إبان الاحتلال الفرنسي. This research paper aims to shed light on the state of Algerian manuscripts during the French occupation, focusing on cataloguing efforts on one hand and plundering and destruction on the other. The study seeks to highlight the attempts by Orientalists to catalogue manuscripts, which led to documenting a significant aspect of Algerian heritage regardless of the colonial objectives behind it; in addition, it explores the role played by the French occupation in the looting, theft, destruction, and displacement of manuscripts, resulting in the loss of a considerable portion. The study adopts a historical approach suited to the nature of the topic and its objectives, covering all the aspects discussed in this paper, which includes three main points: - The state of Algerian written heritage before the French occupation. - The cataloguing of manuscripts during the French occupation. - The looting and destruction of Algerian manuscripts during the French occupation. Cet article vise à mettre en lumière la situation des manuscrits algériens pendant l'occupation française à travers les efforts de catalogage d'une part, et le pillage et la destruction d'autre part. L'étude cherche à exposer les tentatives des orientalistes de cataloguer les manuscrits, ce qui a conduit à documenter un aspect important du patrimoine algérien, indépendamment des objectifs coloniaux sous-jacents ; ainsi que le rôle joué par l'occupation française dans les opérations de pillage, de vol, de destruction et de déplacement des manuscrits, entraînant la perte d'une grande partie d'entre eux. L'étude adopte une approche historique qui convient à la nature du sujet et à ses objectifs, afin de couvrir tous les aspects abordés par cet article, qui se déclinent en trois points principaux : - La situation du patrimoine écrit algérien avant l'occupation française. - Le catalogage des manuscrits durant l'occupation française. - Le pillage et la destruction des manuscrits algériens sous l'occupation française.
